Absolutely brilliant program. I installed and ran this with absolutely no difficulty. I run a network that is geographically dispersed and we have a large variety of different IT assets as we have swallowed up several smaller companies in recent months. This program gave me incredible detail for all comptuters, printers and network devices across our network. It has literally saved me HOURS of work trying to gather this information manually. I would have not hesitate to recommending this program to other network managers.

Useless to me I could not get the program to give me any information about the computers on my network. It installed fine as far as I can tell, but when I try to run it, the progress bar stops about 9/10ths of the way to the end, with no further progress. The only way I could terminate the program is by restarting my machine. Even task manager wouldn't shut it down. I did this twice, giving the program at least five minutes to complete whatever process it was running. No luck.At the five minute point the second time around, I got ...

Froze on \"Please Wait\" when I tried to find out what video card I have. Afterwards I downloaded free \"Unknown Device Identifier 7.00\" and it worked. Found out I had an Intel card and got correct Drivers for my specific card from Intel\'s website.

this program was complete garbage! it told me nothing and did nothing but put crap on my computer! i had to reload a system image to fix this waste of time... thank god it was free

it was ok but it did not fix my hardware issue.

Program Fix It not fix my problem. Program offering not only testing but fixing as well.DVD/CD-ROM is not fix. No suggestion what to do next.I expect more from nice named program.

i tryed to use this program but it keep telling me to to updaeat to 3.00 but that was what i have got and when i do it came up with unsafe so i have not used it yet

Easy to use and attractive, it just doesn\'t do what I thought that it would. I thought that it would test my hardware for problems, not just tell me what hardware I have. It\'s a bit like a glorified \'system information\'.

Never mind laptops - what about games? I started looking for precisely this sort of program because the "Hardware Profiles" just control services, not apps like virus checkers, distributed computing clients, internet radio etc.When playing games I want as little extraneous stuff running as possible, and ProfileLink deals with the problem admirably.

ProfileLink I started looking for a program to do exactly what ProfileLink does after finding that the "Hardware Profiles" feature of XP doesn't control what applications (as opposed to services) are loaded at Startup. ProfileLink seems to sort this problem out extremely well.Although it is designed with laptops in mind, another potential use is to create a lean profile for gaming. All I want running for games is a windows key blocker and Steam - certainly NOT a virus check!

ProfileLink is really handy I really appreciate ProfileLink. It's simple but powerful. It gives you the ability to change your registry entries, startup items, printers, etc automatically based on the hardware profile you select. It is unfortunate that Vista no longer supports hardware profiles.

Works as advertised Very simple to use and with an appropiate feature set. One can go straight to the point.

I downloaded this program to have all the hardware information from lan computers. but it gives only computer name and ip address. or some Milliseconds counts.
